Sinopsis
In the early years of Franco’s dictatorship, Clara Pueyo Jornet, a committed member of the Communist Party, escapes from Les Corts prison in Barcelona through the front door. From this real-life event, the documentary reconstructs not only her personal story, but also that of many other women silenced by political repression. Using archival footage, letters and memoirs, The Great Flight offers an intimate and poetic portrait of female resistance against oblivion and political violence.
