Shitty Nigger

★★★★★ “A story of overcoming adversity through rap music”

★★★★★ “Daura shows that moving between two worlds is often conflictive”

★★★★★ “A film that combines rawness, criticism and poetry in the same breath”

Sinopsis

DAURA is a black man from Banyoles (Girona – Spain). He is a second-generation immigrant, the result of two cultures, two ways of understanding the world and feeling religion. As a child, he experienced violence at home and racial prejudice on the streets. A series of bad decisions led him to spend three years in prison. In his cell, he discovered the power of music, of rap, as a means of expression, as a refuge and as a lifeline.
