‘TAN SUMAMENTE LIGERO’ triumphs at international festivals with two awards at Short to the Point

The documentary short film Tan Sumamente Ligero, directed by Santi Suárez under the banner of Un Capricho de Producciones, continues to expand its international presence with great success. Following its official premiere at Som Cinema in Lleida and its selection at the 53rd Huesca International Film Festival, the film has been honored with two awards at the Short to the Point festival, consolidating its status as one of the most sensitive and personal works in today’s documentary landscape.

The short portrays the life of Juan López-Carrillo, a solitary man who finds in poetry his way to resist oblivion. Through his daily routine and the voices of writers Carme Riera and Ramón García-Mateos, the film builds a poetic portrait of human fragility and the need to write in order to give meaning to existence.
