Ainhoa, that’s not me

Sinopsis

Ainhoa took her own life in 2006. She was 34 years old. Her family recorded everything—even phone conversations. In her personal diaries, Ainhoa wrote down much of her intense and tumultuous life: heartbreaks, drugs, personal conflicts… Her writings reveal a sensitive person, completely different from the punk girl her friends remember, or the sweet child seen in family films. Who was Ainhoa, really? What kind of experiences did she go through, and how many of them are shared by other women? What led her to suicide?… This documentary is a letter to Ainhoa and to all the women who write about their experiences, as well as a tribute to creativity as a form of exploration and resistance.
