Sinopsis
A small rural village is paradise for a city girl and, at the same time, a cage for a local teenager. Two parallel stories that take place among tobacco drying sheds during a summer. Although it could be classified as a rural drama, the story contains elements of fantasy that take it into the realm of magical realism. The film documents the unique lifestyle of the La Vega area (Granada) through the lives of several characters of different ages who reveal aspects of life in that region, such as the harvesting and drying of tobacco, the disappearance of this crop, real estate expansion, folklore, rural life in summer, children’s games in the countryside, and the difficulties of adolescence.
